The Roman Catholic Diocese of Galloway exists to serve the People of God in North, South and East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. The vision and mission of the Catholic Church in Galloway is the same for the Catholic Church Universal: to be a sign and instrument of communion with God and of unity among all people.

News and Coming Events
14th Ordinary Sunday (year A)

Jesus is the strongest bridge connecting humanity with the Godhead. Through his human existence he provides us with a way to learn how to live in the abundant light of God’s presence and grace. Coming to him with our daily toils provides us with a way out of them, a way of easing the burden of isolation or fear which can be so often a part of human life.

What Jesus offers is an intimate personal relationship with himself – one which is nourished by his word, sacraments and communion within the Church, guided by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. His offer is open to all, simply involving coming to him in childlike trust. Once he gave his life for us; now he invites us to share in his risen eternal life.
