Bishop Cunningham has given permission to Fr Neil O'Donnell to leave the diocese and respond to a call to monastic life with the Discalced Carmelities.  Fr O'Donnell will begin his novitiate on 4th August.  Bishop Cuningham thanks Fr O'Donnell for his service as a priest of the Diocese of Galloway and invites you to join him in praying that Fr O'Donnell will find happiness and fulfilment within the religious life.
