Two new Canons for Galloway Diocese were installed in the Chapter of Canons on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in St Margaret's Cathedral.  This Mass also marked the opening of the Year of Priests.  Also present was Fr William Boyd whose silver jubilee of ordination to the priesthood was celebrated.
