Following the referral:

Health in Mind will be in touch to seek your permission to pass on your details the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser will make contact with you to arrange for an assessment to be undertaken.

This assessment will determine your suitability for this level of service, or else will indicate whether alternative options should be explored;

Dependent on the outcome of the assessment Health in Mind will then be instructed to arrange the agreed level of counselling sessions.

Counselling can be offered by telephone or face to face. This will be agreed during the assessment.

Health in Mind will then liaise with you to agree dates and timings of the agreed sessions

Should there be evidence for the need of additional service input following conclusion of the agreed sessions; Health in Mind will contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser to negotiate an extension to the service provided
